Kingston Shebang Ripple Effect

Starting November 2015 I have been meeting every Wednesday with Irina Skvortsova to draw. We have developed a trusting artistic relationship that came out of our many dance exercises as part of our collaborations during shebang.

I have taken 60 pictures of birds nests that I have been sketching. Some of those sketches have turned into prints for fabric. I am making prayer flags for birds to honor their beautiful architecture, I call it “Banners For Birds” My special bond with Irina has helped me to trust my process, we discuss process constantly as we work, and I have recorded some of these ideas. We are committed to this positive creative space that exists between us.
